What will you be doing?

Your role will be instrumental in shaping the automation platform we are building. We are in an exciting phase of refactoring our infrastructure to support our next stage of growth, which means you will have a significant opportunity to influence our future infrastructure. You will have a key role in designing, implementing, and taking ownership of the infrastructure that will power our platform for years to come. This is a chance to make a lasting impact and help us build for scale.

Your day-to-day work and responsibilities will include:

Designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.

Developing and maintaining our infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.

Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of our systems.

Championing security best practices throughout the infrastructure and development lifecycle.

Participating in roadmapping, technical discussions, and decision-making for future initiatives.

Debugging and resolving issues, ensuring that our products and platform runs smoothly for all our customers.

Technologies you’ll work with:

AWS and Google Cloud

Terraform

GitHub Actions, Docker, Linux, Shell scripting (e.g. Bash)

PostgreSQL

Typescript and Node.js

Monitoring and logging tools

What are we looking for?

3+ years of experience in an infrastructure, DevOps, or similar role.

Deep understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and a proven track record of building and managing cloud-native infrastructure.

Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code tools, especially Terraform.

Solid experience with containerization technologies like Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions). Experience in Linux server management and configuration.

A strong security mindset with experience in implementing security controls and best practices within a cloud environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues and a proactive approach to new challenges.

Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.

Here’s also some nice to have stuff:

Full-stack development experience – you have worked throughout the various layers of the software stack and can contribute meaningfully in many of them aside your other responsibilities.

Experience in managing and scaling databases, such as PostgreSQL.

Experience in advanced observability and monitoring tools.

Experience in automating tasks using shell scripting (e.g. Bash).

Finnish language skills are considered an asset due to the Finnish customer base (we hope all our team members interact with customers too).
