We at Clevry are looking for a Finance Business Partner for our client, based in their Espoo office. This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 5 months, with the possibility of an extension, employed via Clevry. The starting date is as soon as the right candidate is found.

As a strategic Finance Partner, you will drive the global financial strategy for a consumables business serving the mining and aggregates sectors across 51 countries. In this role, you hold P&L and balance sheet co-responsibility and work as an integral member of the business leadership team to uplift operations to the next level. Your focus is on bridging strategy with actionable financial insights, overseeing the annual planning cycle, budgeting, and investment reviews while ensuring the accuracy of monthly performance reporting. Beyond core controlling, you support strategic initiatives such as M&A activities, new business model development, and supply chain optimization. Operating within a global matrix, you collaborate closely with logistics and supply chain teams to refine pricing policies and intercompany processes, leveraging Power BI to provide the financial clarity needed for effective decision-making.

Main responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the business line management team, providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Lead monthly financial closing activities, including performance analysis and reporting to BL and BA management.
  • Maintain and develop Power BI dashboards and financial reports used by leadership.
  • Coordinate the annual financial planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment reviews.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as M&A activities, new business model development, and supply chain optimization.
  • Ensure smooth intercompany processes, cost allocations, and adherence to pricing policies.

Main requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of finance business partner experience in multinational companies with global (multi-hundred-million-euro scale preferred).
