We are looking for a

Spare Parts Product Manager

who is responsible for product management and its commercial success. In this role, you will work with other product development, sourcing, service operations, sales and marketing teams worldwide, reporting to the portfolio director. You can be based in Espoo or Iisalmi, with the option to work in our remote office Kuopio as well.

Main responsibilities and tasks

Product Development

  • Define the product strategies and maintain an 18-month product roadmap
  • Develop parts offering to increase share of customer wallet
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to define the product pricing strategy
  • Manage branding concepts for both own and sub-supplied components
  • Propose business case for investments, development needs, resource needs, support structures and procedures for the business’s success
  • Oversee product life cycle from creation to ramping down
  • Enhance the spare part value proposition and the product branding

Product Sales Support

  • Provide product-related internal training and sales support
  • Create value proposals & sales argumentation
  • Work with marketing team to develop product marketing materials and white papers   
  • Plan and execute the product launches

Market Intelligence and customer satisfaction

  • Collect customer feedback and develop action plans for improvement
  • Monitor market and competitor development
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis

All these activities aim to improve customer satisfaction, increase the share of customer wallets and ensure product profitability. 

To shine in this position, we hope you have:

  • 10+ years of working experience with a proven track record of successful B2B product management
  • Master’s degree in business / industrial management, engineering, economics or similar
  • Technical or commercial background in the machinery industry or other service-driven industry
  • Strong networking and collaboration capabilities
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Goal-oriented mindset and ability to handle stressful and complex situations
  • Understanding of finance and basics of profit & loss statements and commercials in industrial business
  • Willingness to travel globally
  • Experience working in a multinational company and matrix organisation; international experience is a plus.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (other languages, e.g. Spanish, are a plus)

We are now looking for a proactive, hands-on and strategically driven

Senior Service Contract Manager

to lead, coordinate and support the development and delivery of service solutions across customer cases globally. This is a strategic and operational leadership role within the Onsite Services team, focused on ensuring that Normet’s onsite services offerings are well-structured, clearly documented and effectively promoted and supported across all markets. You will turn service concepts into practical, customer-focused solutions and oversee the development of tools and materials that support global sales and operations.

Your work will include strong cooperation with global sales, customer service, technical experts and operations teams to ensure that Normet’s service portfolio is effectively delivered and continuously improved. While the role is global, your daily work will be closely integrated with local execution teams and involve direct participation in customer case support. The person in this role will play a key part in driving service productization efforts, ensuring readiness of tools, pricing and documentation and supporting our global sales and delivery organizations in customer case execution.

The preferred office location is Iisalmi or Kuopio remote office, but other offices (Oulu and Espoo) are also an option. The work sometimes requires travelling to possible site locations and offices globally.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Productizing and packaging services and solutions in collaboration with internal experts and stakeholders
  • Creating practical and easy-to-use sales materials, tools, pricing models, and product documentation
  • Participating in customer solution design and quotation processes
  • Supporting sales with customer cases and offering and promoting products to sales teams through sales training sessions, webinars, newsletters and other mechanisms
  • Gathering customer feedback and market intelligence to steer product and service development
  • Delivering product and service training to sales and customer-facing teams
  • Supporting product launches and rollouts in cooperation with marketing and sales areas
  • Monitoring the delivery, quality, customer satisfaction and profitability of ordered services and products
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to keep the organization at the forefront of service management.

To succeed in this position, we expect from you:

  • Solid experience in service business productization, ideally in heavy equipment for mining, tunneling or industrial services. This includes maintenance services, service agreement development and international sales, negotiation and implementation of service contracts.
  • Strong capability to lead cross-functional initiatives and interface with both internal stakeholders and customers
  • Strong skills in producing clear, professional materials and documentation
  • Fluent English skills (Finnish is considered an asset and all other languages are considered beneficial)
  • A self-starting attitude and ability to take ideas into execution
  • Relevant technical education (e.g., B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or similar)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to work in a multicultural matrix organization
  • Understanding of Normet or similar technologies and/or applications
