We are looking for students who are eager to learn to join us as summer trainees here at Kalmar.
We are moving goods in critical supply chains around the world, and our vision is to be the forerunner in sustainable material handling equipment and services.
We offer diverse summer job opportunities in different departments and teams. Most of the summer jobs are located in Tampere or Helsinki.
What do we offer?
There’s plenty to choose from! You can work in, e.g., IT, software development or engineering, control system engineering, product management, customer support, or finance.

What do we expect from you?
You are a bachelor or a master student in a university or university of applied sciences or have recently graduated.
The most important thing for us is that you are genuinely interested in working in an international environment. Our teams are diverse and multicultural so our official company language is English. Some (but not all!) of our summer jobs also require Finnish skills.

This is how the process will continue:
📅 Apply no later than 8 February 2026. We will proceed in the recruitment process as soon as matching candidates are found, so do not hesitate in sending in the application!
☎️ Usually, the first interview will be held on the phone or via Google Meet.
💬 In general, after the phone/virtual interview you will meet the hiring manager and possibly future team members for a face-to-face interview.
