About the opportunity
You will join a growing Deals transformation team in a market-leading M&A advisory. You will primarily drive and manage IT projects/workstreams in deals context, but you will get a great chance to work with other operational and commercial topics as well. Depending on your past experience, you will join as a senior manager or with a higher grade.
The work you will do
We will tailor your role and responsibilities based on your experience, but you will be working e.g. with following topics:
- Developing and growing the PwC Finland M&A IT business and team
- Identification of new opportunities and pursuit of selected ones through developing relevant point of views and tailoring the PwC approach
- Actively create and maintain relationships with corporate and private equity clients
- Driving IT carve-out, integration and due diligence client projects, and working with both client’s business & functional teams as well as various PwC teams from different competencies
- Within the deals transformation projects, drive IT planning and execution in alignment with the overall value creation objectives, from pre-deal to post-deal, from strategy to program management
- Contribute to the planning and implementation by advising on the right architecture, technology solutions and approach to implementation
What are we looking for?
- Have a successful track record in one or more of the following areas: IT management, IT/digital transformation/program management, IT architecture, IT consulting or software product management/development in context of significant transformation projects
- Have a holistic understanding of IT and ability to provide profound subject matter knowledge across critical components of it , including strategy, operating model, enterprise architecture, strategic cloud platforms /infrastructure, etc.
- Good understanding of strategy and M&A, with demonstrated ability to translate IT and technology experience into a transaction environment is considered as a strong advantage
- Be able to work with a broad range of technical, functional and commercial stakeholders and present with impact (e.g. comfort with leading client discussions / leadership skills)
- Analytical mindset combined with the ability to solve problems in a structured way, prior experience in consulting and selling professional (IT) services during your career being an advantage
- Have a suitable educational background e.g. MSc in Engineering or Computer Science
- Fluency in professional English is essential with strong Finnish/Swedish skills being an advantage
