Harp Technologies Ltd (est. 2007) is a privately-owned Finnish company located in Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland, with excellent public transport connections. We develop cutting-edge RF and microwave technology for space, defence, remote sensing, and telecom/IoT applications. Our customers include leading companies and public organisations, e.g., the European Space Agency (ESA). Our activities are organised into four business lines: Microwave Sensors, Microwave Components, Signal Processing, and Electromagnetics. Currently, we employ 13 professionals full-time.

We are now looking for a proactive

Product Assurance / Quality Assurance (PA/QA) Engineer or Manager (depending on experience). The position is new and it is full-time and permanent. We work primarily on-site but remote work is occasionally possible.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in engineering or physics (B.Sc. or higher)
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Product Assurance and/or Quality Assurance
  • Proactive, independent and precise working style and good interpersonal skills
  • Good English skills (both spoken and written)
  • Existing eligibility to work in Finland (EU/EEA citizenship or residence permit in Finland)

WE VALUE ALSO:

  • Experience in and understanding of ISO9001
  • Knowledge of ESA and/or NATO quality and product assurance standards and approach
  • Experience in the development of quality management systems
  • Experience in space industry and/or spacecraft engineering or in other complex multifunctional manufacturing or engineering context
  • Relevant additional skills in, e.g., mechanical design, electronics design, project management, IT administration, or corporate security
  • Finnish skills

CONTENTS OF THE WORK:

  • Perform and coordinate the PA/QA activities in customer projects
  • Design, document, and implement manufacturing and assembly processes according to applicable space standards (ECSS)
  • Develop and implement the quality system of the company in accordance with ISO9001 and other applicable standards (ECSS, AQAP, …)
  • Collaborate and communicate with customers, team members, and other stake holders
  • Support the sales teams in the matters of PA/QA
  • Additional tasks based on experience and interests, e.g., project management, IT administration, corporate security, or design
