Your area of responsibility includes participating in the different phases of customer projects as a process expert and process engineer expert. Mastering different sub-processes and unit operations with extensive experience in equipment technology provides the best conditions for succeeding in the task. Also, mastering chemical safety and ATEX regulations and other regulations for production plant design and implementation (as Machine safety, PED etc.) is a key part of the task.
You can work at Elomatic office in Jyväskylä, Turku, Tampere or Espoo, Finland.

What we expect from you
We value candidates who have knowledge of:
- hydrogen-refined fuels/power to X technologies or
- chemical processes and technologies
- and related processes are also an advantage.
For Hydrogen specialist hopefully, you are also familiar with the energy policy goals of the EU and Finland.
You operate strongly in the customer interface, where our customers expect expertise and an active approach to work. Creative problem-solving skills and adapting design solutions to the needs of our customers come naturally to you. The role also requires an understanding of the tasks of other areas of design in order to perceive the functionality of plant entities.
Preferred qualifications also include:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in engineering, for example, with emphases in process engineering, chemical engineering, energy technologies or similar
- Experience (minimum 5 years) in the process industry
- In addition to a theoretical foundation, we value practical experience in industry sector. experience as energy-/process-/chemical industry.
- You are familiar with industry-related process technologies and production processes as well as industrial unit operations and thermodynamics
- Flexibility and positive attitude
- Ability to perceive the big picture
- Good written and oral expression skills
- Proficiency in Finnish and English, other language skills are considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel
