We are looking for experienced OSS professionals who want to work in a modern telecom environment where automation, reliability, and continuous improvement truly make a difference. In this role, you will drive CI/CD automation, infrastructure modernization, and operational excellence across OSS Inventory systems. You will gain deep exposure to monitoring tools, complex data models, and multi-vendor telecom ecosystems in an Agile, DevOps-driven environment.
Your Role
In this position, you will ensure smooth daily operation and reliability of OSS Inventory platforms that support resource management, network assets, and logistics flows. You will work with data models, integrations, workflows, and application health while contributing to modernization efforts across the OSS landscape.
Inventory platforms are a foundational part of any large-scale telecom ecosystem. Your work will directly influence data accuracy, platform stability, and the availability of critical resource information across the organization. You’ll also play a key part in driving modernization through automation, cloud-native technologies, and improved observability, while working closely with both operational and development teams.
Your work will include:
- Monitoring application health (APM/logs), triaging incidents, performing RCA, and documenting runbooks
- Coordinating major incident responses with NOC/SOC and logistics stakeholders
- Operating and enhancing REST/SOAP integrations between BSS and OSS inventory/process core
- Supporting and understanding resource & service data models, warehouse movements, and logistics workflows
- Managing feature toggles, environment configurations, and release readiness across test/UAT/prod
- Developing CLI tools and scripts for log ingestion, replaying failed syncs, and performing bulk corrections
What You Bring
- Solid experience in OSS inventory/resource modelling, logistics flows, field operations, or similar domains
- Strong programming skills in Java or C/C++
- Understanding of APIs & integration patterns: REST, GraphQL, SOAP, webhooks, message queues
- Strong SQL experience (PostgreSQL/Oracle) for querying, tuning, and data reconciliation
- Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change processes, including CAB participation
- Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Finnish is advantageous
- Minimum 3 years of residence in Finland (required for security clearance)
Beneficial experience includes TM Forum standards (eTOM/SID/ODA), Camunda BPM, Elastic Stack, Kubernetes/Docker for support tooling, and automation using Ansible or Terraform.
