As a Junior Procurement Specialist, you will support procurement activities and learn from experienced professionals. This role is ideal for someone starting their career in supply chain or procurement, or wanting to change their career course, offering hands-on experience in purchasing processes, supplier data management, and stakeholder support.
This is a 1 year temporary position.
About the role
Key responsibilities:
- Assist internal and external stakeholders with procurement processes and tools.
- Help create and update clear instructions for users; provide basic guidance and support.
- Ensure accuracy of supplier master data and procurement documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives under team guidance.
- Support end-user service channels, including ticketing system and scheduling tools.
About you
To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or similar.
- Fluent skills in English and Finnish (written and verbal); Swedish is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities.
- Service-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn.
- Basic understanding of procurement or Source-to-Pay processes will be considered an advantage.
- Interest in using digital tools or AI to improve efficiency.
- Internships in supply chain, procurement, or related fields are a plus.
