Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions’ Underground Drilling Division has end-to-end responsibility for product management, new product development (including engineering, manufacturing and supply chain), product marketing and technical sales support for Underground Drills in mining and tunneling.
Our Hydraulics Engineering team is now looking for a Hydraulics Engineer for a full-time, permanent position to be based in Tampere, Finland.
Your role
As a Hydraulics Engineer you are responsible for designing oil hydraulics, water hydraulics, pneumatics and greasing systems for mobile underground drill rigs. Your responsibility area covers both current product engineering, new sub system development and large new product development projects. You also support production, customers and sales.
Your profile

You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in hydraulics engineering or similar

You may be a recent graduate or have a longer career behind you
-
Practical experience from hydraulic systems, mobile working machines are highly valued
-
You may have worked with Schematic Tools (e.g. E3, Vertex) and Product Data Management -systems (e.g. TeamCenter)

Understanding of control systems, mechanics and electrics is a strong bonus

You communicate fluently in English

You are ready to work occasionally in an underground mine environment

You are a team player, innovative and eager to learn new skills
