Internal Health, Safety & Security Manager – Finland & Norway

Are you passionate about creating safe, secure, and inspiring environments for both guests and colleagues? We’re looking for a proactive and people-oriented Health, Safety & Security Manager to join Finnkino’s Nordic operations. In this pivotal role, you’ll take the lead in shaping a culture of safety and security—ensuring legal compliance, operational excellence, and forward-thinking innovation in all aspects of health, safety, and food security. Your work will help create welcoming and secure cinema experiences for both guests and colleagues, in an environment where entertainment and responsibility go hand in hand.
Responsibilities
Your role and what you’ll be doing
As the HS&S Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for all safety and security matters across cinemas and support offices in Finland and Norway. You’ll work closely with HS&S colleagues across other countries and report directly to the Group Head of Safety and Security based in the UK. Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring legal compliance in health, safety, and food safety across both countries

Advising senior management on HS&S strategy, performance, and risk mitigation

Implementing and maintaining Group standards and safety procedures

Leading audits, inspections, and incident investigations

Collaborating with local authorities on security and counter-terrorism

Supporting crisis management as a key regional team member

Monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for improvement

Facilitating cross-country collaboration and knowledge sharing within the HS&S network

Overseeing coordination with occupational health services, including annual meetings and joint consultation sessions Internal

Proven experience in occupational health and safety, food safety, and security

Strong knowledge of relevant legal frameworks in Finland and/or Norway

Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish are required, and proficiency in Norwegian or Swedish is considered a strong asset

Proficiency in MS Office tools

A proactive, people-first mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally
