We are looking for a
Global Technical Training Specialist
To provide global technical training and development of training materials to Normet Group including business lines and sales areas. In this role you will work together with a Global Technical Support team and collaborate with R&D, production, service centers, and sales functions across the world, reporting to a Global Technical Support Manager. The role is based in Iisalmi, Finland.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Plan, organize, and deliver technical training sessions globally, with a focus on Normet’s mining equipment and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) technologies
- Develop, update, and maintain training materials, instructions, and documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders and global teams
- Drive the development of scalable training models and follow reporting practices to monitor training performance and resource efficiency
- Analyze training data and feedback to generate insights
- Identify and implement improvements in training processes, tools, and delivery methods to enhance learner outcomes and operational effectiveness
- Support the use and development of Learning Management System (LMS) tools and processes to enable the scaling of training globally
To shine in this position, we hope you have:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in technical training, support, or documentation tasks related to industrial or heavy equipment
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or another relevant technical field
- Experience with training and documentation tools, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Product Data Management (PDM) systems, and basic multimedia editing tools
- Background in a multinational company and matrix organization; previous international experience is a strong advantage
- Training experience or skills are considered beneficial
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; other languages are considered as an asset
