Our mission is to be dedicated to the success of the More-than-Moore device makers by delivering best in class, innovative, and flexible ALD equipment and service solutions. In 1984, we established the world’s first industrial production using ALD. Today, we lead the market with products for semiconductor device fabrication, R&D, and varied ALD solutions. We are a unique employer that combines the hands-on, dynamic mindset of a fast-growth startup with the solid funding and resources of a larger enterprise. Beneq is headquartered in Finland with legal entities in the USA and Japan.
Are you a skilled B2B marketing professional ready to take your expertise in events and communications to the next level? Beneq, a global leader in Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) technology, is seeking an experienced B2B Event and Communications Lead to join our dynamic marketing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by managing high-profile events and communication strategies in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective marketing communications and event strategies that strengthen Beneq’s market presence.
Your Responsibilities
The mission is to strengthen Beneq’s event and communications program to support market growth. This role will take ownership of the function, driving improvements to existing programs and practices.
As an Event and Communications Lead, you will:
- Plan, negotiate, and secure high-impact exhibitions and sponsorships at trade shows.
- Manage the annual event marketing budget, ensuring oversight of actual costs versus forecast.
- Schedule and publish digital, social, and website communications based on a centrally managed marketing calendar.
- Coordinate new content releases, including press releases, newsletters, stories, and event announcements.
- Oversee corporate brand guidelines, media assets, merchandise, and printed materials.
- Maintain the marketing contact database in HubSpot CRM, ensuring compliance with GDPR.
- Document project assets, files, and progress using SharePoint and project management tools such as Monday.com.
- Support campaign monitoring and reporting, focusing on predefined metrics.
You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, from executives and project teams to external vendors and contractors. You will also maintain strong relationships with key event organizers and industry media to proactively secure opportunities that enhance Beneq’s position as a leader in ALD equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
We value demonstrable experience in B2B event and communications, particularly in the areas outlined above. A growth mindset, curiosity, and adaptability are key to success at Beneq. The ability to navigate rapidly changing situations with an open mind is highly valued. Success in this role will be measured by the quality of deliverables rather than years of experience. Passion, energy, and lessons learned from past challenges will serve you well.
Your qualifications and skills should include:
- Proven hands-on experience in B2B event marketing is essential.
- Service-oriented mindset with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Fluency in spoken and written English. Fluency in Finnish is an advantage; however, it is not a requirement for the role.
- Detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Confident in vendor negotiations and comfortable collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with WordPress, social media platforms, Monday.com, and HubSpot.
