What I will be doing?
As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will:

Develop Python and C++ code for drivers and modules related to qubit control.

Read and interpret complex IC datasheets (e.g., very high-speed DAC).

Measure system functionality using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers, and verify changes.
-
Utilize version control with Git for efficient collaboration.
-
Participate in team work planning using Scrum methodology.
What skills do I need?
You should have a strong interest in the following areas, with some skills requiring proven knowledge now, and all expected to be mastered within two years:

Proficiency in Python and C++ coding, including drivers and other modules.

Ability to read and understand complex IC datasheets (e.g., very high-speed DAC).

Capability to measure system functionality using oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Experience with version control using Git.
What skills are nice to have?
While not required from day one, these skills are highly valued and can be developed on the job:

Agile development (Scrum or Kanban).

Experience with Linux in embedded systems (e.g., ARM, FPGAs).

Familiarity with build tools like Buildroot and Yocto.

Linux kernel development (e.g., device drivers).

Digital electronics debugging and design.

Digital signal processing.
