Join Our Team as an Electrical Engineer!
We’re currently seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our Advanced ALD Business Unit in the P-Series product team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of industrial large batch atomic layer deposition (ALD) technology, working on groundbreaking solutions for protective coatings, optical devices, and beyond. Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer, your primary task is to design and develop electrical systems for our ALD equipment, ensuring high-performance, seamless system integration, and compliance with industry standards. P-series batch ALD equipment are your primary responsibility, but you are also expected to take an active role in supporting other product teams within the Advanced ALD Business Unit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing electrical schematics for Beneq ALD equipment
- Preparing product purchase structures for customer deliveries and designing required customer specific modifications
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and EMC/EMI requirements
- Supporting certification processes and maintaining technical documentation for regulatory compliance
- Collaborating with software/automation and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless system integration
- Supporting internal teams in addressing electrical performance related matters
- Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and new technology adoption
- Participating in development of new technical solutions related to new products
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years experience in electrical system design
- Proficiency in EPLAN or similar electrical design tools
- Experience with low-voltage and high-power systems, EMI/EMC considerations, and electrical safety, familiarity with PLC systems
- Understanding of CE, UL and IEC certification requirements
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with focus on quality and compliance
- Qualification for conducting electrical installations (if coincidentally needed) is considered as an asset; however, it is not a requirement for the role
