Your Responsibilities Would Include:
- Serve as a bridge between our business and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Evaluate new technologies through proof-of-concept projects.
- Ensure that the data architecture supports the organization’s business goals, maximizing the use of data to drive business decisions.
- Establish policies and procedures for managing the organization’s data assets, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security.
- Design and implement security measures to protect data from unauthorized access, breaches, and other security risks.
- Ensure alongside other stakeholders that the data architecture complies with relevant regulations, standards, and industry-specific requirements, maintaining consistency and reliability across datasets.
- Design, construct, and maintain data pipelines that facilitate the smooth flow of data from various sources to storage and analytics systems.
- Develop ETL processes to gather data from multiple sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into the appropriate data storage solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in building and maintaining modern cloud-based data platform solutions, data processing, and analytics pipelines.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure, Snowflake/Redshift).
- Experience with CI/CD practices in data pipelines.
- Familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Luigi for workflow automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- A data-driven mindset combined with goal-oriented execution.
- Experience working within large organizations and getting things done.
- Strong vision regarding data use cases and how to implement them in practice.
- Understanding of Information Security, Privacy, and Data Governance best practices.
- Good communication skills in both Finnish and English.
