About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full design process, from ideation to production, collaborating closely with project managers, automation engineers, and clients. Previous knowledge of the pulp, paper, or bioproduct industry, preferably pulp, is beneficial – but most important is your willingness to learn new and work in with start-up customers.

Work tasks
- Conducting thorough process analyses and developing innovative solutions to optimize processes
- Creating detailed design specifications and documentation, coordinating with suppliers and vendors
- Providing technical support and expertise to project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of implemented processes, preparing and presenting progress
We are looking for
- Degree in Engineering or a related field (e.g. Mechanical Engineer)
- Previous experience in process design and development
- Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and reliability
- Willingness to travel for project kick-offs and client visits
- Fluent in English; Finnish is seen as an advantage
Knowledge of the pulp, paper, or bioproduct industry, is beneficial.
