Job summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Controller to join our finance team in a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in financial planning and controlling. While the primary focus will be on the subsidiary’s financial operations, this role also involves collaboration with regional and group finance teams to ensure alignment with broader corporate strategies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly reporting, ensuring accurate data, timely submission, and thorough variance analysis and perform ad-hoc analyses.

  • Prepares and manages annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans, ensuring precision and timely delivery. Including P&L, BS and CFF.

  • Prepares weekly reports

  • Apply advanced Excel skills for financial modelling, scenario analysis, and data-driven decision-making, use ERP and reporting systems.

  • Handling and managing the procurement of the local subsidiary.

  • Participate on the cash flow forecasting.

  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of internal controls to ensure adherence to financial regulations and corporate policies.

  • Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.

  • Provide coverage for team members during absences to ensure business continuity and deadlines are met.

  • Collaborate with regional and group teams to ensure alignment in financial reporting and planning.


Key Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge on reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting. (P&L, BS & CFF)

  • Demonstrate resilience in managing tight deadlines, high-pressure situations, and complex financial scenarios.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (master’s or similar preferred).

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in controlling, reporting and planning.

  • Proficiency in financial management and ERP systems such as SAP or OneStream.

  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.

  • Experience with cash flow management (CFF), internal controls, and financial compliance.

  • Fluency in Finnish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Good knowledge of IFRS and local Finnish taxation/financial regulations.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and deliver results under pressure.
