Description of Role and Practice
We are looking for Business Analysts to help leading insurance companies to shape their digital strategy and business transformation and help them on their journey to grow their business and stay relevant for their customers. As part of the team, you will be working for some of the biggest financial institutions in the Nordics with a variety of project opportunities such as business transformation, digitalization, data and analytics and process design.
Key responsibilities
- Excellent domain knowledge of Nordic Property & Casualty Insurance to understand and analyze the business needs of the customer
- Ability to lead and facilitate the requirements gathering sessions
- Eliciting requirements and scope using client interviews, documents reviews, legacy analysis, survey and translating client requirements into functional specs
- Ability to create functional specifications in the form of epics, user stories, process flows, use cases, data mappings
- Detailed knowledge of Guidewire applications; Hands on experience working on Guidewire Data Dictionary, Product Designer, cloud apps etc.
- Collaborate with business product owners, architects, actuaries, developers and testers to ensure the solution is built in accordance to defined requirements
- Identifying, capturing, resolving or escalating risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
- Strong business judgement, leadership and integrity; Should be able to take decisions, able to bring healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business problems.
- Ability to work in the global delivery model and be a liaison between the client and software development team situation across different geographies
Qualifications
Qualitfications
- 7 to 10 years of experience in delivering wide range of technology solutions across P&C Insurance Industry (preferably in the Nordics)
- At least 3 to 5 years of BA experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter / BillingCenter / PolicyCenter
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpretation skills
- Guidewire ACE or Professional BA certifications (ClaimCenter / BillingCenter / PolicyCenter)
- Nice to have experience in GW Cloud implementations, must have BA experience at least one GW implementation
- Agile certifications (Scrum/SAFEe)
- BA / Insurance industry certifications
