We are seeking an experienced Developer/Architect with expertise in accounting and payroll domains to join our team. In this job it is possible to become a wide-ranging expert in Odoo. The candidate will be responsible for providing Odoo-based solutions to our customers.

In this position, you will become a part of our energetic six-person accounting and finance team. You will enjoy your work if you have experience and/or interest in financial software. You will be able to use your previous expertise in combining business and technical skills and product development. 

Our IT responsibilities are divided into the following:

  • Python programming in the MVC framework

  • PostgreSQL relational databases

  • Integration technologies such as HTTP, XML, XSL, JSON,

  • Linux server environments

As an Odoo Architect/Developer you would: 

  • Work with the customer and projects team to design, develop, and deploy customized Odoo solutions to meet the customer’s business requirements.

  • Collaborate with other developers, architects, and consultants to develop new Odoo modules, enhance existing modules, and integrate Odoo with other systems.

  • Provide ongoing support to our existing customers, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and feature enhancements.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo development trends, technologies, and best practices.

  • Continuously improve our internal processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality.

  • Learn from and teach other developers to help them grow their skills and knowledge.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, both orally and in writing, to gather requirements, provide updates, and present solutions.

These will make you excellent in the role:

  • Experience in developing and customizing Odoo solutions, preferably in the accounting domain.

  • Strong understanding of accounting and payroll related business processes, such as accounting, invoicing, taxation, and reporting.

  • Excellent programming skills in Python and experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

  • Experience with PostgreSQL database administration and optimization.

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).

  • Good to have Finnish language skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Production Manager – Lamor Corporation Oyj – Työpaikat

The main goal for the position

The goal is to lead and develop the operations of a newly established chemical plastic recycling plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production performance. The role includes overseeing plant operators, production planning, and daily operations while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and cost standards. Collaboration with the Laboratory Manager and other stakeholders is key to optimizing feedstock and product performance. A continuous improvement mindset is essential to enhance productivity, operational reliability, and overall plant performance.

Your main responsibilities

  • Manage and develop production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance.
  • Lead and support plant operators in running daily chemical plastic recycling processes.
  • Ensure production targets are met safely, on schedule, and in line with quality and cost requirements.
  • Oversee shift planning, operator training, and daily operational troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate production and performance records to support compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in commissioning, start-up, and risk assessments.
  • Act as the designated responsible person for chemical handling and safety in accordance with applicable Finnish chemical safety regulations.
  • Continuously develop your expertise and apply lessons learned.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance process design.

Qualifications:

  • Education: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering is strongly preferred. Degrees in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or other relevant technical fields may also be considered, provided the candidate demonstrates solid expertise in chemical processes.
  • Experience: Strong hands-on experience in process engineering within an industrial plant environment, preferably including commissioning and start-up. Proven expertise in chemical process operations and process safety is essential. Additional industrial experience and demonstrated professional competence are considered a strong advantage.
  • Mandatory Language Skills: Fluency in Finnish and English. The main working language is Finnish.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills with proven experience in supervising industrial operations, including production scheduling and shift management
  • Problem-Solving & Analysis: Ability to identify and resolve production issues, determine root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The ability to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders is essential.
  • Learning: You are comfortable and skilled at learning and using new software and technologies.
