We are now looking for a experienced SAP Finance Lead to our rapidly growing local SAP Consulting Team. Position is located in our Helsinki office, but some travel is also expected based on client needs.

Job Description

Your role

In this role you’ll be involved in planning and leading the finance part in our SAP related projects and defining viable commercial structure for them.

The main responsibilities and possibilities in this role consist of:

• Acting as the owner of the solution for your process area, governing scope, solution agility and the co-ordination of the solution completeness across work stream. This means creating innovative process and solution designs with concrete work estimates utilizing our global service offerings
• Your key role in this is enabling and leading our SAP Finance team to efficiently define the solutions, explain business benefits and use cases with a realistic roadmap to meet the goals. The common goal for us and the client is to acquire a good understanding of business processes and be able to offer the best solution options to meet the business needs. Our culture supports and expects you to provide expert guidance and utilize experience on leading practices in your specialty areas for the whole project team
• Supporting our clients through the full lifecycle of an SAP S/4 HANA implementation – from discovery to post-go-live support while providing leadership to both internal and clients team members and stakeholders
• Actively participating in pre-sales and proposal activities with support from rest of our SAP Team

Qualifications

Why You

We are looking for an SAP Finance professional who has an appetite for delivering sustainable, business-driven projects and being excited to co-operate with the largest companies and well-known brands. You enjoy engaging with clients to understand their requirements and find solution options for key challenges in finance area providing subject matter expertise with a good awareness of SAP and associated technologies within the process area.

Your most important attributes we’d like to see are:

• Practical experience from leading Finance Stream in SAP Implementation(s)
• Thorough expertise in finance related SAP S/4HANA areas/competences such as Central Finance, FI/CO, Margin & Profitability Analysis, Project accounting with PS, Product Costing, Master Data modelling, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay or other
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA product roadmap (experience of other related SAP solutions such as e.g. Group Reporting, SAC is advantageous but not required) and knowledge of relevant delivery methods for SAP (waterfall, hybrid agile, agile) preferably with deployment experience e.g. global template rollouts

Additionally, to ensure smooth start and succeeding in the role, it is required from the applicant to:

• Very strong relevant SAP experience – preferably across multiple industries. Broad SAP functional and technical expertise in your own process area with a good understanding of integrations between SAP modules and other applications
• Have previous consulting and sales/pre-sales experience working with multiple large clients both with business and IT stakeholders
• Be fluent in both written and spoken English with excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to conceptualize and communicate complex topics in a clear and understandable manner (Proficiency in Finnish language seen as advantage but not required)
• Hold a master’s degree or similar relevant educational background
• We highly appreciate SAP S/4Hana Cloud Public Edition – Finance and Accounting Certificate, or the ambition to complete it
• Be currently located in Finland and possess a valid residence permit. For this role we do not offer relocation
