Description of Role and Practice
We are looking for Guidewire Integration Developers to help leading insurance companies to shape their digital strategy and business transformation and help them on their journey to grow their business and stay relevant for their customers. As part of the team, you will be working for some of the biggest financial institutions in the Nordics with a variety of project opportunities such as business transformation, digitalization, data and analytics and process design.
Key responsibilities
- Design and write integration components that directly interact with Guidewire application(s)
- Experience in utilizing standard APIs or other integration mechanisms to transmit, extract, push, and pull Guidewire data
- Estimate effort required for each integration point
- Design the overall integration architecture in conjunction with experts on the target systems
- Design and code integration components including plug-ins, messaging (and supporting business rules), and programs that call the Guidewire application APIs
- Set up and manage automated build and test processes where applicable
- Perform unit testing and resolve defects
- Configure and manage source control system and daily build processes (can be a shared responsibility with IT Infrastructure)
- Create new data model elements and extend the existing application data model with new properties as needed for integration components

Qualification
Qualifications
- We are accepting only candidates resident in Finland or in other Nordic countries
- Prior programming experience in either Java, C#, C, or C++
- Experience with other modern technologies such as SQL, XML, and scripting languages
- Experience with modern integrated development environments (IDE)
- Experience with Guidewire integration development
- Guidewire ACE Certifications is preferred
