What you’ll do:
The Facility Project Manager is responsible for facility related project(s) that are critical to the growth, increased capacity, efficiency, and success of the business unit. These projects require coordination of resources across a range of functional organizations and external companies.
The facility Project Manager plans and directs project schedules and budgets and leads a team assigned within functional internal and external organizations responsible for executing various aspects of the project. Regular reporting and alignment with ES EMEA senior leadership is also critical part of the role.
You are part of a team responsible for ensuring the Vantaa factory’s future capability and capacity. Facility Project Manager reports directly to factory maintenance manager and functionally to Senior Program Manager.
• Leads and manages end-to-end facility projects to support business growth, capacity expansion, and operational efficiency. Establishes and directs cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Defines and translates business needs into scalable facility solutions, including space planning, layout design, and expansion initiatives. Ensures optimal space utilization through continuous improvement, efficient use of existing facilities, and acquisition of additional space when required.
• Owns project financials, including budgeting, cost estimation, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and tracking. Prepares project plans, milestones, and approvals while ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
• Acts as the key interface between internal stakeholders, construction partners, and external service providers, coordinating technical requirements, EHS standards, and architectural planning. Drives decision-making and ensures alignment across all parties.
• Oversees execution, including facility modifications, equipment installation, and process adjustments. Manages multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively while maintaining strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Recognized for structured project leadership, strong coordination in matrix environments, and the ability to deliver complex facility projects successfully within scope, schedule, and budget.
Qualifications:
- Several years of experience in project management. Preferably on facilities, project management or production related areas
- Master or Bachelor level on appropriate science
