We are now looking for a motivated and experienced International Trade Specialist to join our Business Operations Team!
About the role
You will join a close-knit and collaborative team within Beamex Sales and Business Operations, where diverse skills and perspectives come together to ensure smooth global operations. In this role, you will support export sales and delivery projects end-to-end, ensuring seamless execution and strong compliance. You will report to the Team Manager, Order Management and Compliance.
As part of your work, you will also develop and continuously improve processes related to financial instruments and trade compliance. You will work both independently and in close cooperation with colleagues across functions and locations. Flexibility and autonomy are central, as you will be trusted to take ownership of your responsibilities and adapt to evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities

Support daily operational tasks by collaborating with team members and report directly to relevant stakeholders.

Manage and monitor compliance with trade regulations and handle financial instruments such as letters of credit, bank guarantees and ocumentary collections.

Ensure accurate documentation, audit trails and recordkeeping for trade and compliance cases.

Own and improve processes related to Trade compliance and export regulations.

Conduct in-depth analysis of data related to deliveries, customs clearance, and associated costs to identify opportunities for financial optimization and enhanced cost control.
What helps you succeed in this role
-
Extensive experience in Export Sales of which a minimum of 2-3 years in Trade Finance, preferably including experience from the corporate side.

Deep understanding of and experience in managing Financial instruments (Documentary credit and Export Collection).

Ability to apply key taxation principles relevant to international trade (i.e. withholding tax, VAT treatment) and basic export/import tax handling).

Practical experience in trade-related regularatory requirements, including HS classification, country-of-origin rules, and documentation required for regulated markets outside EU.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Finnish and/or Swedish language skills are considered an advantage; proficiency in any other foreign language, such as for example Arabic, is also valued.

Excellent working proficiency in usual Microsoft Office package, especially Power BI, Excel.

Experience with systems and tools used for managing trade and compliance processes will be considered as an asset.

Familiarity with international sanctions frameworks, or an interest in developing this expertise, will be considered as an asset.

We’re offering a permanent, full-time position based in Finland. The role is hybrid, with monthly visits required at our Pietarsaari HQ.
