We are seeking a skilled and motivated BI Specialist to join our Operational Excellence & Quality team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards, create robust data models, and ensure data quality and governance. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights that tell compelling stories.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support business needs.
- Apply best practices in data visualization to communicate insights clearly and effectively.
- Transform data into structured, meaningful datasets suitable for self-service analytics.
- Establish and enforce Power BI governance policies and best practices.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Promote standardization and consistency in reporting across the organization.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Ensure data quality, usability, and accessibility across all reports and dashboards.
- Document solutions, validations, and processes to ensure reproducibility and maintainability.
We believe that the best combination of experiences, skills and background in this position would be:
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including advanced DAX and data modeling.
- Proven ability to create clear, visually compelling, and professional dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Proficiency with DAX Studio and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure), Databricks, and Data Lake environments.
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
- Experience in data governance, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of SQL and other query languages is a plus.
