IT DATA MIGRATION MANAGER
We are now seeking a skilled and proactive IT Data Migration Manager to join our global IT team in a permanent position based at our head office in Helsinki. Become a Lindströmer and help us make a difference!
Your key contribution areas
As our IT Data Migration Manager, you will lead, implement, and continuously improve the migration tool and technical data migration process between IT systems, software, or applications – primarily in strategic M&A cases. This is a newly established role, created to strengthen our capabilities in supporting global growth and strategic initiatives. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing migration strategies that ensure seamless integration of systems and data, supporting our growth and innovation on a global scale.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Lead planning and execution of IT-related data migration activities

Identify and manage risks and impacts related to tool and migration

Coordinate with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of technical outputs

Own and configure the data migration tool

Develop best practice standards and protocols for tool and related data migration

To thrive in this role, you should have:

5+ years of experience in technical data migration

A relevant degree (minimum bachelor)

Proficiency in Java, with hands-on experience using it in data migration tools and database environments (e.g., PostgreSQL)

Understanding of data governance and security standards

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills
-
Fluency in English (written and spoken)

You’ll be part of our global IT organisation, specifically within the IT Development & Projects team of 12 professionals. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our project managers, data lead, IT solution owners, and other stakeholders.
