We at Clevry are looking for a Data Engineer for our client, based in their Espoo office. This is a full-time and permanent contract, employed via Clevry. The starting date is as soon as the right candidate is found.
In this role, you’ll work closely with DevOps, CloudOps, enterprise architecture, and cybersecurity teams to create resilient data systems, develop data storage protocols, and support CI/CD pipelines. We will discuss the details of the client company with candidates personally during the first stage of the recruitment process.
Main tasks
•\tDesign and implement workflows to mine and analyse the data
•\tDiscuss and design data products/data area components with other internal teams
•\tDevelop data storage and data maintenance protocols
•\tDefine requirements in relation to Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD
•\tCo-operate with DevOps, CloudOps, enterprise architecture and cybersecurity functions
•\tBe generous with sharing and inspiring the rest of the team and be open to learning about the energy domain
We expect
•\tBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience (4+ years)
•\tStrong understanding of cloud platform engineering and data transport mechanisms (3+ years) to support scalable and resilient system architecture
•\tEperience with data storage and data maintenance methods (3+ years)
•\tProven experience with streaming platforms, and working with streaming data (e.g. Kafka, Pulsar, Nats)
•\tExperience with SQL, e.g. PostgreSQL and noSQL, e.g. MongoDB
•\tKnowledge of Software Engineering principles: SOLID, clean code
•\tStong written and verbal communication skills are vital for effective collaboration and articulation of complex ideas
•\tFull professional proficiency in written and oral English
•\tExperience with data bricks is a big plus
•\t Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
•\tAnalytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented mindset
•\tEager to learn and grow in the energy domain
