About the role
We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Marine Newbuild Project team in Finland. Join us in our mission to protect what matters most!

As a Project Manager, you will be delivering turnkey projects. You will be responsible for project budget, internal/external communication, resource follow up, scheduling and implementation during the project life cycle from contract to end of warranty period. 

You will ensure excellent customer communication and service towards the customer. 

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Ensure that turnkey project schedule, scope of supply, design, deliveries, installation, classification approvals and commissioning of completed projects are according to contract and IMO regulations
  • Manage HI-FOG deliveries and installation activities by leading internal and external stakeholders and coordinating their work
  • Seek the most feasible solutions throughout the project lifecycle to maintain or improve the profitability of the project
  • Ensure timely and proper communication with customers and strive to build trust and good relationships with customers
  • Liaise with engineering, design and other relevant internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycle up to end of the warranty

To be successful in the role you need to have:

  • BSc, or higher degree in Mechanical, Automation or Electrical engineering, or from another related field
  • At least 3-5 years of previous work experience from turnkey delivery projects, from the Maritime/Navy/Heavy Production industries
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to multitask and manage simultaneously ongoing complex projects
  • Strong experience in handling negotiations, leading and coordinating a team, and making decisions
  • Great interpersonal & communication skills with excellent command of the English language

It would be an advantage if you have:

  • Italian/Finnish language knowledge
