Business Development Manager – Veolia Services Suomi Oy – Työpaikat


Veolia Finland is looking for an experienced

Business Development Manager 

to drive growth in ecological transformation. In this position you lead business development initiatives focusing on industrial decarbonization, water cycle management, and product recovery/circular economy solutions for large-scale industries in Finland and the Nordics. You report to the VP, Business Development and you will be a key person in  leading the company’s growth journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development and sales activities for Veolia’s comprehensive industrial solutions portfolio in decarbonization, water cycle solutions and circular economy solutions 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industrial segments

  • Structure and coordinate complex commercial offerings for industrial clients

  • Lead and coordinate solution development processes from concept to commercial proposal

  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored solutions for industrial clients

  • Actively follow-up key market segments and  develop service and offering  to match the market and customer needs


What we are looking for: 

  • Strong willingness and motivation to be a key part of developing Veolia’s business in Finland and the Nordics

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B commercial or business development role within industrial sector

  • Proven track record in complex business development, commercial development or solution sales

  • Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills

  • Excellent project management and stakeholder coordination abilities

  • Relevant university degree in e.g. business or engineering

  • Willingness to travel in Finland and the Nordic region

  • Fluent in Finnish and English


Ideally you have:

  • Background of working in or with one of the following industries: metal and mining industry, chemical industry, pulp&paper industry or food & beverage

  • Basic understanding of market trends of industrial decarbonization, water cycle solutions and/or resource recovery solutions
