Data Engineer, Espoo – Espoo / Clevry – Työpaikat


We are looking for

We at Clevry are looking for a Data Engineer for our client, based in their Espoo office. This is a full-time and permanent contract, employed via Clevry. The starting date is as soon as the right candidate is found.

You will be working in a team which develops cloud data platforms, integrations and data science applications for their internal customers. We are using CI/CD and orchestration tools in automating our development and deployment processes. For context, one of your assignments could be working with collecting, processing, and sharing data from energy production assets and multiple other internal and external sources.

You will be a good fit for the team if you appreciate CI/CD pipelines, orchestration tools, linting rules, good IaC practices, unit testing and release and review processes.

We will discuss the details of the client company with candidates personally during the first stage of the recruitment process.

Main tasks

  • Contribute to the development, operation, and architectural design of complex data platforms
  • Transform complicated business problems into data solutions and pipelines
  • Create and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD tools
  • Work together with a team of data engineers and collaborate also with business stakeholders
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements and improve team ways of working and the quality of our work

We expect

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics)
  • Fluent English skills, Finnish is an asset
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Experience in programming with Scala or Python
  • Experience in developing integrations and managing data processing pipelines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
