Your Role

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing support and assistance to end-users within an organization. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues, managing service requests, and ensuring the optimal performance of IT systems. Role also includes face-to-face collaboration and support within our premises.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Resolve problems in response to customer- or system-reported incidents via trouble tickets.
  • Identify and break down problems using structured problem-resolution approaches.
  • Prioritize day-to-day IT support requests and resolution workflow for technical operations issues.
  • Support and maintain the WAN/LAN network and equipment as well as server administration, printers, and PC.
  • Provide training and education of new HW/SW to staff involved.
  • Assist in software installation and deployment when required.
  • Administer IT assets and other documentation required.
  • Procure IT-related equipment (software and hardware) under the guidance of the Manager.
  • Ensure all business processes are followed as per KN systems/guidelines and working instructions.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong ability to analyze and solve technical problems to learn fast and become proficient with unfamiliar systems.
  • Understanding of LAN/AD/VM support, TCP/IP networking, and workstation management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good English and Finnish language skills, both written and verbal.
