Hyvä ruoka on meille sydämen asia. M/S Finlandialla omavalmiusaste on korkea, ja keittiössämme tehdään päivittäin ruokaa sadoille asiakkaille laadukkaista raaka-aineista.
Kokkina ja keittiöapulaisena toimit keittiötiimissä vuorotellen lämpimän- ja kylmän keittiön sekä kahvilabistron kokkina / apulaisena. Kokin työ M/S Finlandialla tarjoaa ainutlaatuista käytännön kokemusta ison ravintolakokonaisuuden pyörittämiseen. Viihdyt meillä, kun sinulla on reipas ote työntekoon, pidät ripeästä työtahdista ja nautit asiakaspalvelusta.
Vakituiseen työsuhteeseen kokkina edellytämme hakijalta laivakokin tai kokin koulutusta sekä vähintään kahden vuoden dokumentoitua työkokemusta.
Keittiön aputöihin voit hakea kaikissa vaiheissa: jo valmistuneena, opiskelijana, tai vaikka työssä oppimiseen. Laita rohkeasti hakemuksesi tulemaan!

Arvostamme hyvää kielitaitoa (erityisesti suomi, englanti, viro), laivan virallinen työkieli on englanti. Laivalla tehdään vuorottelutyötä siten, että jokaista laivatyövuoroa seuraa yhtä pitkä palkallinen vapaajakso (esimerkiksi 1 viikko laivalla ja 1 viikko vapaalla). Koko miehistö asuu laivalla työaikanaan ja he majoittuvat erillisiin miehistöalueisiin, joissa on myös yhteisiä tiloja kuten miehistön kuntosali ja sauna.
Laivatyö edellyttää voimassa olevaa passia/kansainvälistä ID-korttia ja 18 vuoden ikää.

We are looking for COOKS AND KITCHEN ASSISTANTS to join our happy team on M/S Finlandia. We have vacancies for summer and seasonal workers, as well as for permanent professionals.
Good food is a matter of the heart for us. M/S Finlandia has a high degree of self-sufficiency, and our kitchen prepares food for hundreds of customers every day from high-quality ingredients.
As a cook or kitchen assistant, you will work in the kitchen team alternately as a cook/assistant in the hot and cold kitchen and in the bistro café. Working as a chef on M/S Finlandia offers unique hands-on experience in running a large restaurant complex. You’ll enjoy working with us if you have an upbeat attitude, like to work at a fast pace and enjoy customer service.
For a permanent position as a chef, we require a chef or ship’s chef qualification and at least two years of documented work experience.
You can apply for a kitchen assistant position at any stage: as a graduate, student, or even as an apprentice. Don’t hesitate to send in your application!

We appreciate good language skills (especially Finnish, English, Estonian), the official working language on board is English. On board the ship we work in shifts, so that each shift on board is followed by an equal period of paid time off (e.g. 1 week on board and 1 week off). The entire crew live on board during their working hours and are accommodated in separate crew quarters, which also have common facilities such as a crew gym and sauna.
A valid passport/international ID card and 18 years of age are required to work on board.
