Our current headcount is around 70 wonderful giosgers! We’re headquartered in Helsinki, Finland and have local offices in Stockholm and Barcelona. Some of the giosgers work also in Madrid and the UK.
About the role
As a Financial Controller at Giosg your main responsibility is to develop and manage our internal reporting and financial processes. You will do your magic with numbers and prepare managerial monthly and annual reports and financial forecasts for our management team to support decision making. You work in collaboration with our outsourced accounting and payroll division and oversee their work. Giosg is a group of 5 companies, and each one has its own dedicated bookkeeping and payroll partner.
You will also take a leading role overseeing the consolidated annual reporting and providing the bookkeeping partners with necessary data. In addition to that, the annual audit and reporting to our stakeholders will be part of your responsibility.
We are looking for a talent who takes ownership of her/his work and has that ”act like there is no other guy or gal to do the job better” attitude.
This is an independent role and you will report to our Chief Operating Officer Jussi. You’ll be part of Giosg’s admin and the extended management teams.
You will charm us with the following skills:

Master’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.

At least 2-4 years of experience working in a similar position.

Advanced Excel skills.

Fluency in Finnish and English.

You find the software industry and SaaS metrics interesting and would like to grow with our company. Previous experience from the SaaS industry is a plus.
