Metso Aggregates R&D, Technology development team in Tampere, is now looking for a Research Engineer in a new position. As a Research engineer you will be one of the key persons in developing and testing new technologies in electric drivelines and systems. You will follow technology opportunities and plan and execute projects, where new concepts are studied and developed. You systematically evaluate different solution alternatives through theory, simulations, and factory & field testing.
To Succeed
You already have previous work experience in a related field. Most importantly, you are proactive and analytical, with a hands-on attitude and willingness to learn by doing. You can work independently and act as part of our global team. You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken. Mastering the Finnish language is also required.
Who you are
To succeed as a Research engineer, you must have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree education in a relevant field and competencies in electrics. You are willing to participate in experimental testing and are comfortable with data processing. We also value interest in studying opportunities for simulation tools. The position will require occasional traveling.
