A new opportunity has arisen as Business Improvement Lead in Thruster Systems. In this role you will take the organization on a path of improvement, identifying opportunities and suggesting changes for the better. As a Business Improvement Lead you will have a cross-functional view to the end-to-end business processes to ensure leading-class performance. We are looking for a team player to lead our continuous improvement activities to ensure best ways of working.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead improvement projects: Identify improvement opportunities within business unit, facilitate implementation, and manage change.
  • Coordinate improvement portfolio: Manage and oversee the business improvement plan, run reviews with project owners and management team to align and prioritize activities.
  • Facilitate risk management: Develop and implement internal risk management process to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity within the business unit
  • Define and drive continuous improvement initiatives: Drive in a culture of data driven decision making and exploit lean thinking and technology to streamline activity and improve efficiency

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics or other relevant field
  • Experience in project/program management and/or process improvement (Lean Six sigma is considered an advantage)
  • Ability to lead improvement projects and support the organization in continuous improvement activities
  • Ability to prepare, lead, conduct and follow up on (cross-functional) workshops
  • Good verbal and written English skills
