We are currently seeking a NORDIC ASSISTANT CONTROLLER for Formica Group European finance team in Kolho 

This is a new role in our team, and you will be reporting to the Nordic Financial Controller. In this versatile role, your primary responsibility is to manage accounting, reporting, legal, and tax matters for multiple legal entities in the Formica Europe Nordic region. You’ll work closely with the Nordic Financial Controller to ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting to the Group Controller in the Netherlands for each country within the Nordic region, including analysis versus budget and forecast. 

 

Your main responsibilities in this position will be:

  • Maintain accurate general ledger for assigned entities.
  • Monthly preparation of a comprehensive set of balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, adequately analysed and supported with underlying documentation.
  • Supporting any other business planning cycle deliverables such as QMR, Budget, quarterly forecast, working capital and CAPEX overviews, as well as ad hoc requests.
  • Support with tax, statutory and legal compliance, including but not limited to VAT, Transfer pricing, CIT, Wage tax, social security and Pension premiums.
  • Efficient cooperation with the external audit partner through the different stages of the audit cycle 

 

In this diverse role, you will also assist in preparing and filing financial statements, continuously improve of all related processes, and collaborate with the UK-based transactional team to ensure compliance and process compliance and enhancements where possible.
